We have worked with FOSS4G since 2012. During this time, we’ve answered more than 1800 questions from our support service customers. Our support service includes all common open source geospatial software. These include e.g. QGIS, PostGIS, GeoServer, Mapproxy, Mergin Maps, QField as well as open data sources and the GDAL library. We help your organization with geospatial processes, whether it’s finding a lost QGIS tool or getting your crashed GeoServer back up.
How does Gispo support work?
Using the support service is easy. Choose a support package that best suits your needs. As a support service customer, you can send us your questions by e-mail at support@gispo.fi. Our team is on duty every weekday from 9 am to 5 pm (GMT +2) and will answer you within 8 hours. Your question will not be answered by a chatbot, but by one of our GIS artisans, who will guide you step by step. If necessary, you can also book a remote meeting with us and we can look at your problem together.
The support service agreement is continuous. Depending on the package, the support service includes a certain amount of expert work, which is used to solve the customer’s problems. By default, a maximum of 2 hours is used to answer one question, and exceeding this time is always agreed separately. By default, the Support service covers the entire organization, but the support service can also be ordered for a specific team.

SOS support
If you need our help with an acute problem or only for a short period of time without a year-long support service subscription, you can order SOS support. SOS is suitable for urgent geospatial problems that require expert assistance. These include, for example, restoring a crashed geospatial service, updating a software to fix a severe vulnerability, or fixing bugs so that your service can function normally again.
We can solve the problem either independently or with you via email and remote meetings. We will respond to your message as soon as possible to agree on the implementation of the work. SOS support can be purchased without a separate support service agreement. Support is billed according to the hours worked and its price is €295 (+VAT) / h. The minimum charge is 1 h.
Support service included in training
Gispo trainings include a trial period of the support service. The support service is personal and only applies to those who participated in the trainings. The duration of the support service period is 2 months, and the number of support service hours included in it is determined by the duration of the training. The support service period is not included in the Get to know location information course.
