The course introduces the basic functionalities of the QGIS geographic information software. In the course you will learn the key processes related to the use of QGIS, such as: importing spatial data into the software locally and from an interface service, editing and analyzing the data, visualizing vector and raster data, and finally exporting the spatial data into a map output. The course covers various features which are needed for importing, processing and exporting of spatial data. The course teaches you how to digitize spatial data and how to produce a thematic map.

The course is suitable for those who have basic knowledge of geographic information and especially for those who have experience with other GIS software, but not of QGIS. The course also suits those who want to refresh their basic QGIS skills.

The course will be taught from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. (UTC+3) daily on Google Meet.
